Analyzing the results of the previous questionnaires

Gathering the answers together, a colorful chart was created, representing both the individual and the collective judgment. The feedback I received from the analysis could be summarized in the following issues:

·         The students assessed positively both the collective work (intense blue  = highly original) and their own work (pale-blue). Yet, by comparing the colors it became apparent that the collective work was judged as more imaginative and original.

·         The students judged that their creativity was positively triggered (light-blue)

·         The group was quite ‘indifferent’ on whether the activity had positive impact on the overall course (grey )

·         The results in relation to the degree of experimentation with new tools were positive but not very high (pale-green and murky-blue). However, the students have experimented with a variety of tools and techniques. Mysteriously only four attempted to experiment with digital technology.

After Reflection / Self-evaluation
The final parts of the research (the activity and the questionnaire) helped the participant (and me), to focus on the collective ‘result’ (we were anticipating with enthusiasm the final mixed color).
However, from the assessment process, I would need more feedback (probably with open-ended questions or a group discussion) in relation to the following issues:
-       Would the students prefer to work collectively from the beginning to the end and how would they interact with each other?
-       Did the students needed more support in relation to the use of new tools (e.g. with digital tools)?

Thus, on the one hand the questionnaire attempted to negotiate and represent the collective meaning but on the other it was quite ‘poor’ and needed much more enrichment.
